There are also an Index of Characters, an Index of First Lines of Songs, and a Glossary. The Oxford Text, edited in modern spelling and punctuation by W. J. Craig, has been entirely reset in the present edition.

In this edition the plays are printed in the order adopted by John Heminge and Henry Condell, the editors of the First Folio, in 1623. Pericles, which was not included until the Third. Folio (1664), appears here at the end of the dramatic works and is followed by Venus and Adonis, The Rape of Lucrece, The Sonnets, and the minor poems.
