Samuel Horsley *1733-1806* anglikanischer Theologe, Bischof, studierte ab 1751 Theologie und Mathematik an der Universität Cambridge. Er profilierte er sich als polemischer Vertreter der anglikanischen Staatskirche, setzte sich aber auch für eine generelle religiöse Freiheit ein.
